When the wind disperses the clouds, light fills everything above and below. Wisdom (智, zhì) is like the sun; discernment (慧, huì) is like the moon — always shining, but veiled by the floating clouds of attachment to external conditions. When the true Dharma is heard and delusion is cleared away, inside and outside become luminous and all phenomena manifest within self-nature.
