Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!

God's greatness must be answered with loud and strong praise offered with all one's strength.

Key Message

The Psalms are completed with the declaration 'Let everything that has breath praise the LORD'—the ultimate purpose of life is to praise God.

This is the final verse of the entire Psalter and the most comprehensive command to praise.
