The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Return to the community after healing must be accomplished through the proper process, and confirmation by a spiritual authority is important.

and the priest shall go out of the camp, and the priest shall look. Then, if the leprous disease is healed in the leprous person,

The Savior is the one who goes first to those who are isolated. Jesus perfectly fulfilled this prototype.

It is noteworthy that the priest goes outside the camp to examine the leper.

the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two live clean birds and cedarwood and scarlet yarn and hyssop.

The materials of the leprosy purification ceremony foreshadow Christ's atoning death and resurrection, and complete freedom from sin.

And he shall sprinkle it seven times on him who is to be cleansed of the leprous disease. Then he shall pronounce him clean and shall let the living bird go into the open field.

Purification must be complete, and a vivid ceremony representing the complete removal of impurity was required.

The blood of the dead bird is mixed with water and sprinkled seven times on the leper, after which the living bird is released into the open field.

"When you come into the land of Canaan, which I give you for a possession, and I put a case of leprous disease in a house in the land of your possession,

Holiness must apply not only to the individual body but also to the spaces and environments of life.

The regulations for leprosy in houses would apply after Israel had settled in Canaan.
